- Calculating the actual ice-breaking capabilities of ships, determination of safe operating parameters for ice navigation;
- Development of ice certificates and other documentation to ensure safe ship operations in ice, including close towing behind icebreakers;
- Analysis of key operational failures during ice navigation;
- Development of ship modification projects to assign or upgrade ice class (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Finnish-Swedish Ice Class, Polar Class);
- Assessment of vessel compliance with the Polar Code requirements and development of the Polar Water Operational Manual (PWOM);
- Development of ship modification projects to obtain the Winterization mark.
