Onboard software development

  • STABEDIT - stability and strength monitoring instrument - Calculates of vessel loading, trim, stability, and strength using both calculation methods based on information about cargo and reserves and vessel actual condition with automatic processing of data from sensors measuring draft, levels in tanks or cargo holds, and other automated control system sensors. Compilation and optimization of cargo plans considering the specific characteristics and hazard categories of various cargo types. Verification of compliance with classification rules and international regulatory requirements. Maintenance of cargo records and preparation of official cargo documents. Calculations of unsinkability and emergency stability. The STABEDIT stability instrument complies with RS Rules and IMO Resolution MEPC.248(66). The STABEDIT stability instrument is certified by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the Russian Classification Society, and foreign classification societies, and meets International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) requirements. In addition to STABEDIT core functionality, a special module has been developed to provides advanced capabilities for loading and unloading operations;
  • SAFESEA - real-time expert support for navigators in determining safe and economically efficient storm navigation modes. Selection of optimal speed, heading, and trim for safe vessel control under actual wind and wave conditions varying intensity and direction. Monitoring of safe navigation conditions considering the vessel current state (load, ballast, hull condition) in situations involving speed loss severe rolling, side and bottom slamming, deck flooding, propeller exposure, excessive acceleration, and, in particular, reduced stability in following waves. The system is integrated with the STABEDIT PC;
  • PROPULSIONEXPERT - determination of propulsion characteristics for low or medium-speed engine complexes equipped with fixed or controllable pitch propellers, open and guided nozzles, with or without shaft generators. Selection of modern energy-saving devices with assessment of their impact on ship speed increasing or fuel economy. Overall evaluation of vessel performance compared to leading global benchmarks;
  • SMART STATICS - vessel emergency stability and residual structural strength calculations are performed using the SMART STATICS software developed by CNIIMF(No.22.44.01.00091.314). This software is also used onboard for developing loading with control of trim, stability, structural strength, and emergency stability. When installed as the onboard «Stability Monitoring Instrument» (SMART STATICS) on a vessel, it further enhances communication efficiency between the ship and the shore-based center by enabling rapid calculation of emergency stability using actual loading data transmitted from the ship's system - critical in the event of actual vessel damage.
