ERS-CNIIMF
ERS-CNIIMF services can be provided to ships of any type and purpose, regardless of class and flag, upon request by shipowner.
After concluding a service agreement, ERS-CNIIMF specialists, using software certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, develop an information model of the vessel, conduct the necessary testing, obtain approval from the RS, and include the vessel in the central database.
To develop a mathematical model of the ship, the customer provides the following information:
- Theoretical drawing or coordinate tables of the theoretical drawing;
- Stability information approved by the classification society or the Flag State Maritime Administration;
- Hydrostatic data tables;
- Subdivision scheme - schematic diagram of the ship's division into watertight compartments;
- Schematic diagram of openings in the ship's watertight structures, indicating their coordinates and type of closure;
- General arrangement plan;
- Tank plan;
- Hull construction drawings;
- Shell expansion plan;
- Midship plan;
- Lightweight load distribution;
- Diagrams of all ship systems (ballast, drainage, cargo, etc.).
After the vessel is added to the central database, a final report, manuals for the ERS-CNIIMF quick access system, and test cases are issued. The customer receives the following documents:
- ERS-CNIIMF certificate;
- Manuals the ERS-CNIIMF quick access system, including test cases;
- Recommendations for the crew detailing actions to be taken in case of emergency;
- Standard report forms sent upon request from the vessel to the coastal center;
- Contact information for communication with ERS-CNIIMF personnel on duty;
- Confirmation from the Register (form 6.3.10) and/or from a recognized organization acting on behalf of the Flag State Maritime Administration, regarding the applicability of the Ship-Shore Center system to the vessel, as well as a Certificate of Compliance.
In addition, the Register recommends that all ships in the ERS-CNIIMF central database be equipped with onboard programs for calculating the trim, stability, and overall longitudinal strength of an undamaged ship, which are compatible with the ERS-CNIIMF software to simplify the process of obtaining the initial information for performing calculations.
Development of ship documentation
In addition to providing operational support for tankers, the Coastal center develops, upon the shipowner request, the following ship documentation:
- Stability Booklet
- Damage Trim and Stability booklet
- Loading Manual;
- Cargo tank calibration tables (accounting the type and position of measuring devices);
- Heeling or weighing trial results;
- Plans, instructions, manuals;
- Towing plans for vessels, floating docks, and other floating structures;
- Ballast water management plan (BWMP);
- Volatile organic compounds (VOC) management plan;
- Damage control plan;
- Fire control plan;
- Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP);
- Ship-specific plans and procedures for the recovery of persons from the water (RPW);
- Damage control manual and associated diagrams (as well as other diagrams and drawings at the customer's request);
- Guidelines and procedures for the submerging and surfacing of a floating dock with a vessel, including ballasting calculations, stability analysis, and overall strength assessment.
The documentation is developed in compliance with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the Russian Classification Society, the IMO, and MARPOL conventions, followed by approval by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Russian Classification Society.
